I have a 1st place team at FOX.Don't think i will for very long though.H2H Standard scoring categories.

I lost my 2nd basemen Hudson, and 2/3's of my OF this weekend in Lee and Crawford.

Here's what i have left.

C-C Iannetta
1- J Morneau
2. J Lopez* WW pickup
3. T Glaus
SS- Mike Aviles
OF-M Holliday
OF-J Hermida* WW pickup
OF-X Nady
U-P Burrell
BN-C Davis
BN-A Dunn* only here due to Reds not playing today.

SP-S Marcum
SP- G Floyd
SP-W Rodriguez
RP- K Wood
RP-B Wilson
RP- BJ Ryan
BN- C Volstad
BN- R Nolasco
BN- V Padilla
BN- A Gallaraga

Can this team survive the triple hit of injuries?

Wow, how are you in 1st to begin with? Your offense is amazing, considering it is way above average and you just lost 2/3 OFs and a 2B, but your pitching is not that good. You have three good closers, which is always good, but your SPs are not that good. I think with your offensive losses, you are screwed because my guess is that your offense has been carrying your team, and it will no longer do that.

I lost Tim Hudson and still have managed to have just enough piching each week to grab a category or two, but yes my offense has carried me.

Just goes to show you that ERA's can be over-valued.

Stacked lineup and 3 good closers can get the job done. Good closers keep the ERA and WHIP down. As for holding on - I dont see you hanging on, Lee and Crawford are huge losses...

No doubt. My normal H2H stratagey is to go hitter heavy and draft a shit load of closers. Hopefully I can win the majority of the hitting catagories, as well as saves and maybe a few pitching catagories

Still, with those three losses, I dont see your team staying in 1st because your offense isnt good enough to carry a weak pitching staff.

Looking at it some more i can only hope i get Marcum pitching like he did in his last start the rest of the way, along with Galaragga, Volstad, and Nolasco winning down the stretch.

To summarize-The Florida Marlins better win the NL EAST.......lol

Well luck like that (and dumb mistakes by your opponents) will go a long way!
