Finally McCabe has agreed to waive his no trade clause. It's still going to cost the Leafs $2million dollars and nothing happen until September 1st the day he is due the bonus money.Florida Panthers have agreed to trade Mike Van Ryn.I still think it's very possible once they have McCabe, the Panthers will trade Bouwmeester before training camp.

LOL now why would Panthers want McCabe and his ridiculous salary. What Panthers should've been doing is forking out money for J-Bo and keeping this guy longterm. J-Bo will command around 7 mill per year on the market next year so why not offer him 3 or a 4 year deal worth 7 mill per. Instead they will tack on McCabe's 7 mill salary for next 3 years - makes alot sense Florida. This is a team that practically gave away Jokinen because he was getting too expensive for them. Talk about retared ownership / management...

Anyone else looking at McCabe??? My dark horse team would've been Rangers but they got Redden in the offseason...

I've looked into what said before about teams very high on Bouwmeester.Columbus and Ottawa are both definitely looking at making a deal for him.Another player may be the Minnesota Wild, they have the defensive system throughout their team and on the farm.Apparently they have several prospects the Panthers are interested in.

Simple fact of the matter is Bouwmeester was assured if he signed the one-year deal that the Panthers would make every possible effort to move him.He really wants out.

The trade is official. They are just waiting a few weeks until McCabes 2 Million bonus kicks in. This is just anothr reminder how bad the Ferguson era was ... But I think his value in fantasy goes way up now, he was MIA in toronto since he signed that huge deal.

Heard a rumor about Cory Murphy and David Booth going to Toronto. Wishful thinking...

Now it seems the Panthers are either going to include Richard Zednik or Radek Dvorak in the deal as well. Will find out this afternoon what the details are.

Says McCabe and a 4th round draft pick. I guess it is still a smart move to get rid of McCabe, but in my eyes we have no room to be getting rid of ANY draft picks in the near future.
