A live chat room, fantasy leagues with the winner landing up to 100 dollars in prizes. We also have our own FREE Baseball draft kit for our UM members, as well as an upcomming Football draft kit. Manny Ramirez for Joe Nathan and Chad Billingsley.
I seem to be catching a lot of flak for making this trade, but I personally dont think its bad. The GM I made the trade with has some strategy where he wants a lot of closers apparently(he recently traded Harden for Cordero) so I floated out the offer and it was accepted. On a value level, what do you guys think?

Especially at this point in the season you trade for need. This trade is fine. Good move for you. Any team could use Manny. Yours especially. Kinda are giving up on saves however.

Personally, i wouldn't make that trade,,,
Nathan is one of the best Relievers in the game and based upon the roster listed in your sig you are all but punting the save category-
Tis much easier to ride a hot bat off the wire than find a top notch closer like Nathan,,,
Granted, value wise the deal is sound, but unless you have an oddly erratic 6x6 style of scoring, I think you hurt your team more than the trade potentially helps,,

thanks for the fast replies. Yeah I'm definitely rolling the dice with Hanrahan, Ziegler, Perez, and Guardado but I'm thinking/hoping they all hold onto their jobs.
I just wanted to hear that the trade was NOT unfair.

| I too wouldnt make this deal for the same reason Delb pointed out. But I dont think the trade is loopside by any means...
