Uhh tough call Rich. Mendenhall has a chance to be as good as McFadden and Stewart and RBs are more valuable in fantasy sports so for that reason I'll say no deal.

How many WRs do you start? You have Marshall and Williams - both great options in keeper leagues as well as couple up and comers in Rice and Sweed. I would stay put.

This league you start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 2 OFLEX (to include TE), 1 TE, 3 DL, 4 LB, 4 DB

I like the trade. Holmes looks to be on the verge of stud-dom and he is the new #1 WR in PIT. How long before Mendenhall ever becomes a 20-25 carry per game RB? Hard to say b/c FWP is still there.

Both are yound and valuable, but I take Holmes for some immediate gratification - and long term too.

In this case i would agree with making the deal as well.Holmes has the potential to be a 90 catch 10-13 TD's and around 1300 yards a season.I don't think Mendenhall is going to touch that as long as Parker is around.

You're team is so fucking stacked I wouldn't bother with Holmes. You should be able to work your way into a better trade than that with your RB depth. How in the hell did you get all 3 top RB prospects?

50-50,,,

on the one hand, I'd have no probably picking up holmes, but wouldn't mind holding out to see if one could up the ante,,,,

Maybe I'm really saying "how the hell do I know", but there really is an opinion amidst this pile of crap if you feel the urge to re-read this post 873 times,,,

Good luck?

I trade LJ for the #1 pick in the draft and then traded Rodgers, Benson, and AP (bears) for the #2 pick. That was before Benson troubles. I also had the 3rd pick from my record last year so I ended up with the top 3 picks in the draft. I still feel short at WR and was trying to move Jacobs instead but this guy is insisting on Mendenhall for Holmes. Still on the fence with this one.

Here's a couple other thoughts on Mendenhall. He only carried the load as a starting RB his final season with the Illini. He also has issues with ball security. He's also much better suited to being an interior runner as he hasn't shown great ability to turn the corner. All this leads me to think he's going to be a short-yardage back whose value is high due to getting goal line chances more than breaking away for 150 plus yards a game.
