Welcome to THE UPPER MANAGEMENT. Fantasy Sports Neighborhood.
You are currently viewing the UM as a guest, which gives you limited access to view most discussions and access our other features.
The UM opened August 17th, 2007 as a handpicked 100 members who were asked to join for their smarts and community involvement. But the word got out that the UM neighborhood is not just your average start up community! .... Members begun jumping in from word of mouth .. and now the UM stands at 300+ members and over 30,000 posts and growing!
The site has it's very own Texas Holdem table which has members playing against each other 24/7! .. MLB Gameday audio only for the community. A live chat room, fantasy leagues with the winner landing up to 100 dollars in prizes. We also have our own FREE Baseball draft kit for our UM members, as well as an upcomming Football draft kit. We run our own monthly MILB prospect list. But most importantly .. The UM has grown into a community of sports friends. So jump in and, join the UM today! |

Position taken in the draft and the college someone played at have no relationship to how someone does in the NFL, as shown by the number of undrafted free agents and small school players who go on to notable careers, and the big school top draft choices who go bust. The later remarks about the Bears poor O-line, passing game and defense are all valid though.

Look no further than Mississippi Valley State where Jerry Rice attended.

And you also have Westbrook at Villanova. TO at some beatnick college, and Big Ben out of the MAC. The reason those players are taken lower is because most teams dont want the risk of looking like an idiot vs. a genius. _________________ Signatures are for pussies.

| A small school is not a good point to use in a debate about a player and their potential in the NFL. There is always going to be major successes out of small schools and failures out of big time colleges. We can all easily name examples of these players without doing any research. Or we should be able to. :-)

| You could also count on Nebraska O-Lineman for years to be a bust in the NFL as well, just to counter the small school successes. There was a major scholl with a weakness.BTW i'm going back to the old Tom Osborne led Husker teams for that.

| The Lions and Bengals are talking trade. The two rumored trades are Rudi Johnson and 2 draft choices for Roy Williams. and Rudi Johnson for Mike Furrey and a pick.

If they can score Roy Williams without giving up a 1st rounder that would be money for the Bengals. Although he'll probably get arrested 7 days after he arrives in Cincy because he was hanging out with Chris Henry.
I'm sure Roy would love it. Moving from Jon Kitna to Carson Palmer is a career changer. _________________

Yup. Orlovsky is a stud and all and a future MVP candidate but you can't pass on the opportunity to land a QB of Culpepper's caliber.

i know some teams are desperate...but who gives Culpepper the right to
1) ask for a multi year contract
2) spurn any other team that may have interest in you to go for the Lions? lol _________________

What I would like to know is why Stanton hasn't had a chance. Dude has a big arm and he's pretty smart too. Did his chances of getting a chance to run that offense die when Martz left? _________________
