I am trying to make a run for CC by offering Jay Bruce & AJ Burnette

the CC owner has strong pitching but weak in all offense categories, would my offer hold up?
his lineup is as follows:

2B Howie Kendrick
3B Alex Rodriguez
SS Mike Aviles
OF Jacoby Ellsbury, Kosuke Fukudome, Cody Ross
UTIL Jason Giambi
DL Hideki Matsui

SP Cliff Lee, Joe Saunders, Joba Chamberlain, CC Sabathia, Matt Garza, Mike Mussina, Jorge Campillo
RP Jonathan Papelbon, Salomón Torres, Ryan Franklin, Rafael Soriano, Hong-Chih Kuo

I really dont think you have any chance of acquiring CC with that deal. Keeper league or not.

You're picking the wrong time to go after CC, barring a top 10 hitter, you're going to have a tough time getting him coming off his outings.

Some may disagree with me but I would NOT look to acquire CC in a keepers league.

2007 - 241.0 IP - 27 years old
2006 - 192.2 IP - 26
2005 - 196.2 IP - 25
2004 - 188.0 IP - 24
2003 - 197.2 IP - 23
2002 - 210.0 IP - 22
2001 - 180.1 IP - 21

Throwing 180.1 innings as a rookie is alot, throwing 210.0 at the age of 22 is even worse. I wouldnt be surprised if CC breaks down in next couple years...

If you do decide to go for him still, you'll need to fork out more to get him. We are talking top-3 pitcher in all of baseball.
