The UM opened August 17th, 2007 as a handpicked 100 members who were asked to join for their smarts and community involvement. But the word got out that the UM neighborhood is not just your average start up community! .... Members begun jumping in from word of mouth .. and now the UM stands at 300+ members and over 30,000 posts and growing!
The site has it's very own Texas Holdem table which has members playing against each other 24/7! .. MLB Gameday audio only for the community. A live chat room, fantasy leagues with the winner landing up to 100 dollars in prizes. We also have our own FREE Baseball draft kit for our UM members, as well as an upcomming Football draft kit. We run our own monthly MILB prospect list. But most importantly .. The UM has grown into a community of sports friends. So jump in and, join the UM today! |

He Likes to refer to himself as a "simple poster," a steady poster. But please Don't be fooled by his calm online demeanor. --- is a special neighborhood member with incredibly varied interests in the site! As an avid activity member, multiple UM league championships, a admitted UM-Cinema junkie, sport and entertainment aficionado, --- biggest problem is that there is just never enough time in any one day to do other things, other then check the UM.
--- was also one of the real innovators and trend setters in the Upper management. His ideas are impeccably dressed -- and dignified -- .. He was one of the first to have his own custom UM signature, ---'s place in the history of the UM Neighborhood is secure. Only 2 other UM-Members have been in this position of greatness.
Some will say that --- is lucky; that he had more free time then others! that he’s a fast typer! The reality is that we were the lucky ones to be reading his posts .. As great as it is to be his forum member, it is even better to be his friend.

Gentleman ... Is this the speech that one of your UM comrad’s will be making for YOU 2+ years from now in this very area of the UM forum?!?
In any area of achievement, we will pay tribute to the best of the best that meet criteria that is so illustrious.... So with that I want to welcome you all to the Upper Management's Hall Of Schmucks Page! Below is the synopsis and criteria which will make up our HOS eligibility. Yes this is down the road for most, but many have begun the process of completing the steps which make up this ultimate forum achievement!
The road to HOS immortality is not easy, not everyone is cut out to be apart of this small, yet elite group of forum schmucks … But to the ones that are, you will live in the hearts! And our minds! And our computer terminals so Dearing!
Let us start by going through the criteria of the Upper management’s Hall of Schmucks (HOS)
To gain HOF eligibility: (every August 17th)
1. MUST be a UM member for 3+ years
2. MUST have 3,000+ posts to his name
3. MUST have participated in 12 leagues which are either sanctioned or affiliated with the neighborhood.
4. MUST have won at least 1 league title.
5. MUST be a good embassadore to the neighborhood
6. MUST have helped run or coordinate at least 2 events in the UM
Once a member gains eligibility this will be voting process:
1. You must qualify for 4 of the 6 criteria to be eligible for the HOS ballot. Each year whom ever gains eligibility by August 17th will be on the ballot.
2. If there is only 1 member who’s eligible by Aug 17th, a community vote of a ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ will accrue.
3. If there are more then 1 eligible, a 'community' vote will accrue where ONLY 1 out of the bunch will get in. The 'losers'. Will be eligible next year while being joined by a new eligible member and so on...
Note: each member can have lets say 5 shots at getting in before becoming ineligible.
All members of the Hall Of Schmucks will have their banners of achievements in the HOS Link which is located in our Portal Park section of the site. as well as gifts, awards and presents from the UM and it's members!

| As we embark on the UM's 1st birthday (August 17th) I wanted to remind each of you of the illustrious Hall of Schmucks (HOS) and to remind you that in 2 years from now, quite possibly a very small group of elite members may be comming up upon eligibility.
