The UM opened August 17th, 2007 as a handpicked 100 members who were asked to join for their smarts and community involvement. But the word got out that the UM neighborhood is not just your average start up community! .... Members begun jumping in from word of mouth .. and now the UM stands at 300+ members and over 30,000 posts and growing!
The site has it's very own Texas Holdem table which has members playing against each other 24/7! .. MLB Gameday audio only for the community. A live chat room, fantasy leagues with the winner landing up to 100 dollars in prizes. We also have our own FREE Baseball draft kit for our UM members, as well as an upcomming Football draft kit. We run our own monthly MILB prospect list. But most importantly .. The UM has grown into a community of sports friends. So jump in and, join the UM today! |

If we remain at eight, it will be just the BCS conferences and ND.
If we get to 10, we'll add another couple of conferences, like the WAC and CUSA or MAC (depends on what everyone wants), plus the remaining three independents.
If we get to 12, we'll add whichever one from above we didn't add.
I'm in an eight-team league with a 24-man roster and the BCS and ND works well.
I'm also in an 16-team league with a 45 man roster and we use all 119 teams. I don't see us getting to that point.
We still need at least two more teams.

Did some rankings this week and the addition of a couple of the non-BCS conferences really helps the player pool towards the bottom.
I'll do whatever format, but I hope we can get 2 more and use some non-BCS conferences as well.

I would join but my knowledge of college football is the polar opposite of Grid's ego :)
Canadian coverage of college football is slim to none, stupid basic cable.

It looks like we are going with eight and will start the draft on Friday.

Hey I was gonna back off this, but Biz asked personally and I think with the upcoming college football season it is only fitting I show everyone I am the official UM Sports "college football guy." In a few weeks I will release all of my player and conference rankings and predictions. Hopefully this year I can approach an 80% mark at covering the game spread. Last year I was over 70% which put me in the top 5% on yahoo, but enough rambling I'm in. So Ry send me the site and league info Asap. Also could you let me know what conferences will be involved. I saw all BCS for sure, and you were considering adding more. I personally think just BCS is enough, but if were having more thats cool too.
