The UM opened August 17th, 2007 as a handpicked 100 members who were asked to join for their smarts and community involvement. But the word got out that the UM neighborhood is not just your average start up community! .... Members begun jumping in from word of mouth .. and now the UM stands at 300+ members and over 30,000 posts and growing!
The site has it's very own Texas Holdem table which has members playing against each other 24/7! .. MLB Gameday audio only for the community. A live chat room, fantasy leagues with the winner landing up to 100 dollars in prizes. We also have our own FREE Baseball draft kit for our UM members, as well as an upcomming Football draft kit. We run our own monthly MILB prospect list. But most importantly .. The UM has grown into a community of sports friends. So jump in and, join the UM today! |

From Rotoworld
"Eddy Curry is likely to have season-ending knee surgery after an MRI revealed a vertical cartilage tear in his right knee. The plan is for Curry to take a few days and see if the swelling goes down, and then make a decision on whether to play on or have surgery. But with nothing left to play for, it would make sense for Curry to have the procedure now. He’ll need 4-6 weeks to recover, so he should be fine going into next season. With Curry out, David Lee should see more stable playing time the rest of the way, while Randolph Morris will also get a long look from the Knicks. Officially, Curry has been ruled out for Monday’s game, and is questionable for Wednesday in Miami."

Thomas shouldn't have any more excuses to keep bringing Lee off the bench, although I'm sure he'll try.
Lee has been a stud the last few games and is already center eligible in Yahoo leagues. I doubt he's available in anyone's league at this point, but definitely grab him if he is.
Of course my closest competitors in both leagues have him as well. _________________

Its now official...
"Eddy Curry will have arthroscopic surgery to remove a piece of torn cartilage in his right knee. Recovery time will be four to six weeks, thus his season is over. This news has been likely for nearly a week. Curry was a disappointment this season playing next to Zach Randolph, and his future in New York could be in question. Unless he learns how to rebound (or how to block shots), Curry may never be a productive fantasy player. David Lee will maintain his heavy minutes and Wilson Chandler will continue to get playing time, although Chandler doesn't have value right now."
