I'm sorry, but I can't even fucking hold it in anymoree... the Sharks are on the roll of a lifetime.

Their last 15:

*14-0-1
*1.60 GAA
*Outshooting opponents by >10 shots/game
*Just outshot the Ducks 43-13, won 2-1
*Beaten 8 current playoff teams - top 3 seeds in East/West 5 times
*Thornton = 17 points
*Brian Campbell = 14 points
*Marleau and Cheechoo = 11 points a piece
*Jody Shelley + Douglas Murray = 6 fights

If they can continue this streak on into the playoffs they are going to be TOUGH to beat. Yee!

Too much talent to be held back all season. Should have been like this MUCH sooner. Marleau and Cheechoo, plus the addition of Campbell sparked this... and it obviously awakened the team's spirit because they've been pitbulls on defense.

Didn't give Thornton credit because he's been like this all season... now he finally has help.

This will be a scary team come playoff time. With Detroit, San Jose, and Anaheim at the top of the division the bottom 4 teams are just PRAYING for a matchup with Minnesota.

The Sharks run has also skewed the conferences even more in favor of the west. Compare the tops of each conference... Detroit/Anaheim/San Jose vs. Montreal/New Jersey/Pittsburgh (replace any of those with Ottawa/NYR/Carolina and you still get the same answer).

Capitals play Panthers tonight at home ... with Canes losing yesterday in their last game of the season, Caps are now tied for the division lead. All they need is a point and the division and playoff berth (No 3) is theirs...

What are the chances the Caps win 5-0, all by Ovechkin... 70 baby!

HUGEEEEEEE game for Rangers tommorow against Devils on the road. Unfortunately we have to play Devils in 1st round however 1 point is separating the 2 teams so at least we can get home field advantage. New Jersey's 21 road wins is tied for 4th in NHL behind only Montreal (25), Detroit (25) and Dallas (22). This is why we need home field advantage...

Avs must beat Minny tommorow to leap over Flames for No 6 seed so they can avoid streaking Sharks and play guess who ... Minny off course, who are probably the weakest link in West (you could make a case for Nashville)...

hehe he was held point-less but in the end it didnt matter

Carolina's season just went from bad to downright ugly. Expected to be 1 of the top teams in NHL, they end up missing the playoffs...

Calgary pummels vancuver 7-1. iginla ends strong landing his 50th goal. All good signs moving into the playoffs. I still feel that this team has it's shortcomings ... but I have seen first hand that Mike Keenan is able to pull magic is the postseason.

""Keith Tkachuk tallied his 500th career goal in the Blues' season finale, becoming the 41st player to do so. Tkachuk had already notched an assist in St. Louis' 4-1 downing of Columbus, before he iced the game with his milestone marker into an empty net. It might not be the prettiest way to reach 500 but they all look the same on the stats sheets. The 16-year-veteran finishes the season with 27 goals and 58 points in 79 games. He has now registered 500 goals, 982 points, and 2102 in 1,054 career games.""

"The Anaheim Ducks are parting ways with Todd Bertuzzi, as the club has placed the veteran winger on waivers with the intention to buy out the remaining season of his contract with the organization.

Bertuzzi was reunited with Ducks general manager Brian Burke last summer after signing a two-year, $8-million deal. If unclaimed, the team will pay two-thirds of his remaining deal and he will become an unrestricted free agent."

Burtuzzi has fallon quite a way's since the 'incident' and thbe change to a faster game. He was a top 5 player not to long ago.

Oilers signed Shawn Horcoff to a 6 year deal worth 33 mill. He was entering final year of a current 3 year contract. 50 points in 53 games last year...

He can be a nice pickup for a team needing a powerplay specialist.
