1. Minnesota Vikings Projected Record 11-5

AP and Taylor will still carry the load for the Vikings.Question is does Jackson improve the passing game enough?Defense is loaded as well with the addition Allen.

2. Detroit Lions Projected Record 10-6

Bye bye Mike Martz.Hello to an offense suited to Kitna.More rollouts and bootlegs, as well as seeing Kitna run. Kevin Smith appears to be ready to make life easier for the recieving corps which could mean some big days for Williams and Johnson.Defensively they are deeper also.

3. Green Bay Packers Projected Record 9-7

Aaron Rogers was good in college.Question is can he keep the Packers at the level they were at last season? I don't think he can in his first full season as a starter.Talented on defense, but I think with the inexperienced QB they could see more of the field than they want.

4.Chicago Bears Projected Record 2-14

This is just the ugliest offense around. No quaterback, looking to rely on a decent but not a superstar rookie RB, and the WR's are nothing to write home about. The Bears defense is still good, but they may see close to 40 minutes a game some weeks.

hehe Cranky, Lions better than Packers? It wont be long before TRD and Koby unleash vzcoolz1

1. Minnesota Vikings - 10-6

They'll be better than last year but still there are too many questions surronding that offense. Everything revolves around Adrian Peterson. Addition of Bernard Berrian will help as should the emergence of Sidney Rice. Tarvaris Jackson needs to step up. Best defence in the league. 5 tough games to start the season so that will be a good reflection of where they are.

2. Green Bay Packers - 9-7

Aarod Rodgers has looked good so far and has plenty of weapons in Driver, Jennings, emerging James Jones and Lee. Ryan Grant is signed up longterm and they have 1 of the better young D's in the league. This division will be much closer than people think.

3. Chicago Bears - 6-10

6-10 may be a bit generous for a team that will struggle mightily to out up any points on the scoreboard but they do play Lions twice, Falcons and St Louis once. They could probably squeeze out couple more wins, I see them beating Philly at home and Houston on the road in Week 17 when Texans may not have much to play for just like Bears.

4. Detroit Lions - 5-11

Martz is gone but the addition of Kevin Smith will somewhat ballance out the offense. Roy Williams is still there and Calvin Johnson is ready to break out. Their defence wont stop anyone however. Lets hope Jon Kitna doesnt have any predictions this time around.

I just think that with Martz gone and a better running game, Kitna and his recievers will be much better. I think your underestimating the defense. It isn't elite by any means, they do get after the ball though. They are better than last year.

A better running game? Just because they plan to run more doesn't automatically mean they'll be better at it. The Lions are going to be the bottom feeders in that division, no doubt about it.

Packers 10-6
Vikings 10-6
Bears 7-9
Lions 6-10

Maybe the least impressive divisions in football now that Favre is gone.

We'll see I think they will surprise this season. If you've seen anything from their training camp, all 11 guys on offense are certainly happier. That goes a long way to performing at a higher level.

I think the Lions have a chance of getting out of the gutter just because the Bears are going to be BAD. But only if the Bears can't manage 7 wins.

Packers and Vikings are the clear 1-2 favorites this year. Peterson needs to avoid a sophomore slump, which he almost certainly will because he's a fuckin' monster.

I don't think it's the sophmore slump as much as it is an injury that worries me about AP.Luckily for the Vikes Taylor is no slouch.

Pack 8-8
Queens 7-9
Kittens 7-9
Bears 1-15

It's an ugly division with ugly offenses.

I think the Packers, Vikes, and Lions will all be in a close race for a division title. And it won't be pretty. I think the division winner will only have 9 wins.

Hey CC, what the hell are you smoking??? Must be that "ganga" crap. Lions over the Pack?!? LMAO! Anyways, the North is WIDE OPEN now that The Man is gone from Green Bay....however, the Pack's D is fricken as good as it gets. They will do their thing....all Mr. Aaron has to do is not fuck things up. The Vi-Queens may have a chance to win the North...but I doubt it.

Prediction: Pack on top as always!

We'll see but the Lions D has the teeth to take a bite out of opponents.Combined that with what should be a much improved offense, and i still think 10 wins is very possible given their schedule.

"Defense is awesome. All he has to do is not F up." Funny, sounds like you're talking about Rex Grossman. zrezd_face
