Here's the thing about the Giants though. They suck. Listen I realize they won the SB and that is more than the Eagles ever have. So if you ask me if I have a ring, my answer is your asshole is the ring that I have.

Now, let's get by the ring retort. Ok, we moved on. All I am saying is that they played the absolute best football last year than any other team in the league. All of it came together and they made an impressive defensive run and played mistake free football. That's not happening again and I am by no means saying the Eagles will do that.

I am just saying that missing Strahan and Eli as the QB hurts. Little to no consistency with Eli and that pass rush will lack. Not to say they can't pick it up as he was aging, but when you lose a leader like that it hurts.

What! Giants will be playing with lots of confidence this year and there d-line is still in great shape minus Strahan. and they have an easy schedule.

Thats fair and I would think the same thing if I was a Giants fan. I just dont think it's happening.

Last of the easy schedule for the Giants after next week.Are they the best at this time? Sure are but it's a long season.

@Pittsburgh
Dallas
@ Philadelphia
Baltimore
@ Arizona
@Washington
Philadelphia
@Dallas
Carolina
@Minnesota

The divisional games are no cakewalks, let alone a trip to the desert(much to your chagrin)

They could easily lose 3-5 games down the stretch.

wow, you guys might hate the giants even more than i do and i was devestated by them beating my beloved patriots in the superbowl last year

i sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the giants are going to steamroll through the division and finish with a record something along the lines of 13-3 or 14-2

i see every game on their schedule as winnable

dallas is heading into a crucial stretch, but they bearly beat the bengals, lost to arizona, and already lost a home game against a divisional rival in WASH

until yesterday they redskins looked very impressive to me, but they laid a major goose egg at HOME against a terrible rams team (i can see it happening on the road, but playing like that at home against a piss poor team scares me a little bit)

anyway, i hate making overall predictions, but i can GUARANTEE you that the giants will win the division and be the #1 overall seed in the NFC and will most likely finish with the best record in the nfl

Pittsburgh might give them trouble and one team will probably give them a scare, but other than that those are all very winnable matchups. I'd be very surprised if they lost 3 of those, especially now that Dallas has dropped off the list of contenders.

the game late in the season @DALLAS will be a very tough matchup, and when they play well dallas is capable of beating any team
they dominated the giants twice in the regular season last year, granted that was before the defense arrived and eli was still playing like
a scared little boy, but the cowboys have the firepower to beat anybody on any given sunday and they will most certainly be playing for
their playoff lives at that point

Well in all reality, the beauty of the division is that they no matter how good any team is in the division, those games almost always provide a test. You cannot walk through the East no matter how good you are.

Best rivalries in football.

Exactly.The team who survives the division has to almost always be considered the top threat in the NFC to go to the Super Bowl.That's why the NFC East has won the most Super Bowl games as well.Getting there is the hard part, once there though, they generally succeed.Damn Eagles have screwed that up a couple of times though.Ooops was that shot at hesss.....

I'm sure a few defenders on that squad are feeling the fireworks hangover. Don't talk about things you don't understand (ie stop posting).
