Welcome to THE UPPER MANAGEMENT. Fantasy Sports Neighborhood.
You are currently viewing the UM as a guest, which gives you limited access to view most discussions and access our other features.
The UM opened August 17th, 2007 as a handpicked 100 members who were asked to join for their smarts and community involvement. But the word got out that the UM neighborhood is not just your average start up community! .... Members begun jumping in from word of mouth .. and now the UM stands at 300+ members and over 30,000 posts and growing!
The site has it's very own Texas Holdem table which has members playing against each other 24/7! .. MLB Gameday audio only for the community. A live chat room, fantasy leagues with the winner landing up to 100 dollars in prizes. We also have our own FREE Baseball draft kit for our UM members, as well as an upcomming Football draft kit. We run our own monthly MILB prospect list. But most importantly .. The UM has grown into a community of sports friends. So jump in and, join the UM today! |

Mussina keeps piling on the wins and Karstens is on fire. So in a word, no don't pick up Byrd unless Karstens comes back to earth... and even then its a maybe.
Byrd's WHIP has been too high for him to be effective. He'll get wins in Boston but with your staff it can't be too much of a need... _________________

Byrd will be better on the road for Boston. He gave up 2 shots last night over the monster, a trend which I say will continue in his home starts.
Your staff is fine without him.

| I'd probably pick up Byrd for Karstens. I picked up Byrd in a few leagues and all things being equal, I'm not a fan of either startr ... but I have more faith in Byrd staying consistant enough on a good team like Boston, then Karstens doing what hes doing on Pitt.

Karstens isn't great but he'll last you until the Price machine hits home around Sept. 1.
Paul Byrd will not be an effective fantasy pitcher in Boston. His WHIP is too high and we all know how much of a bandbox Fenway is. Stick with Karstens.

Nah I would stick with what you got man...
As Poon said Mussina is pilling on the wins and Karstens has been pitching real well for Pitt so I would stay with what you have.
