Not a bad start for Aldridge, this kid should have an absolute monster season, cause that portland team is simply god awful and he should get the ball every play.

not a bad game for AK 47 either, 9 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 blocks ... little bit of everything, hopefully he bounces back in a big way this year.

Gilbert Arenas 31 points, 7 rebounds 4 assists ... and they are going into overtime! Always nice to see your main fantasy player start like this with an OT as cake!

Couple random observations:

Has there been a stated goal by the officials to call more travels this year? I have seen at least 3 tonight.

Durant is a string bean.

Delonte West is better then I remember.

It is wierd watching the Sonics without Allen or Payton.

I think they mentioned during one of the games last night that they were cracking down on "bunny hops" this year (sorry Shaq). Maybe that was in reference to a larger effort to enforce the traveling rules.

Al Horford had an interesting debut ... 9 points (3-4) and 10 rebs in only 11 minutes
but he also had 5 fouls

Peja has started off well for Hornets which definitely makes them a threat in West.

Team to watch out for in East are Toronto Raptors, this team is very very deep and Bargnani is looking like 2nd coming of Dirk Nowitzki.

So how many of us figured Danny Granger would be putting these numbers up this week. I mean I had him on my sleeper list ... but wow. Congrats to you dudes who grabbed him mid rounds.
