Welcome to THE UPPER MANAGEMENT. Fantasy Sports Neighborhood.
You are currently viewing the UM as a guest, which gives you limited access to view most discussions and access our other features.
The UM opened August 17th, 2007 as a handpicked 100 members who were asked to join for their smarts and community involvement. But the word got out that the UM neighborhood is not just your average start up community! .... Members begun jumping in from word of mouth .. and now the UM stands at 300+ members and over 30,000 posts and growing!
The site has it's very own Texas Holdem table which has members playing against each other 24/7! .. MLB Gameday audio only for the community. A live chat room, fantasy leagues with the winner landing up to 100 dollars in prizes. We also have our own FREE Baseball draft kit for our UM members, as well as an upcomming Football draft kit. We run our own monthly MILB prospect list. But most importantly .. The UM has grown into a community of sports friends. So jump in and, join the UM today! |

But why not?
The Sybermetric experts say he can't hit for average with a high K total. But the K total hasnt been so high and he's hit for average all season. Not just a high average, but a real high average. The kid can hit .. plain and simple.
BP say's don't sell at all .. welcome with arms wide open

I actually agree with Darko-
Anytime a dude launches 10 bombs in under 100 AB's you are bound to find some sucker willing to overspend,,,
I wouldn't hesitate to dangle him to the masses and see what kind of bites one could get,,, _________________

General manager Jon Daniels announced Sunday that Chris Davis will move to third base for the remainder of the season. Davis played quite a bit of third base in the minors prior to this season, but has played almost exclusively first base this year between Double-A, Triple-A and the majors. If he can stick at the hot corner long term it would give him a big fantasy boost, but Davis figures to be plenty stretched there defensively.
This is a strange move. He couldnt cut it as a 3B in double A .. so what makes them think he can do it in the majors? Now fantasy wise, this is HUGE. a 3B who can hit 40+ HR's a year .. Yikes!

Bold strategy Cotton, we'll see how this pays of for them...
Yes fantasy wise this is pretty good news but its bad news for Rangers pitching staff. Davis started as a 3B prospect but was awful there and 1B or DH looked like his only options. Not sure what has changed since he last played there.
So who are Rangers giving ABs to at 1B???
