Can you believe this quote after his minor league start:

“I’ve been through injuries since the beginning of my career. I’ve been through adversity. So I learned at a young age that you’ve just got to keep working. I’ve never stopped working or pushing to be the best or striving to have success. I think eventually that turns into what you want, and that’s to have success. Yes, I’ve had bad luck here and things happen here and an injury here, but that’s never really got me down. Yes, it’s frustrating that you have to start from ground zero when you want to be out there helping your team. I haven’t been able to do that, that’s the frustrating part.â€

This goes to show how good life is when you have 35 million dollars in the bank. Not only does he get to make suspicious statements like these ... but he probably did this interview with his nut sack hanging out.

More amazing is that he still gets frequent press-

Everywhere from ESPN to forums like this,,,

Even when his lottery winnings (AKA a contract) run out,,,,His bullshit notoriety will likely earn him some sort of bullshit marketing gig,,,

It's funny that he returns just as his 40 million dollar contract is up.

It's Pavano's walk year...so of course from here until the end of the season he will make 7 starts, tossing 7 complete game shutouts while whiffing every batter he faces.

The Yankees will then sign him to the most lucrative contract in history, and he will accidentally sever his index finger signing his name on the contract and he'll never throw another pitch.

Come on, we all know it's going to happen.

He was on the DL with a bruised buttocks.. TGS is correct, except he will sever his finger when it gets stuck up his ass after he signs the contract.

There would be mutiny in the clubhouse if he is resigned. Everyone there hates him.

Haha.

TORONTO -- Yankees New York Yankees pitcher Carl Pavano Carl Pavano came out of a minor-league rehab start Sunday with stiffness in his neck and didn't throw a bullpen session today.

Pavano has been sidelined seemingly forever with a list of injuries ranging from a balky back to a bruised buttocks to rotator cuff tendinitis to a torn elbow ligament.

"He came out of his start with stiffness," Joe Girardi said before the game against the Blue Jays. "I don't think it had anything to do with him not (throwing a bullpen)."

He has to be the most overpaid player in baseball. 4 year deal and he is making $39.95 million dollars and he has made 19 appearences.
